Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information AI. Athlete Intelligence ("we," "us," "the platform") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have — including specific protections for athletes under 18, since we know many of our users are minors.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (handled securely through our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password in plain text).
Profile information. Information you choose to add to your athlete profile, which may include your name, birthdate or age, gender, city/state, primary and other sports, position, athletic level, height, weight, dominant hand/leg, GPA, standardized test scores, academic and athletic awards, volunteer activity, and any personal bio or notes you write.
Training session data. When you use "Analyze My Movement," video is processed on your own device to extract pose/movement data (things like joint angles and body positioning) — we do not upload or store your raw video. The resulting scores, metrics, and the AI coaching feedback generated from that session are saved to your account so you can track progress over time.
Coach conversations. Messages you send through "Ask Coach" are sent to our AI provider to generate a response, as described below.
Waitlist / contact information. If you previously joined our waitlist, we retain the name, email, and sport interest you provided so we can follow up about the platform.
How We Use AI to Power Coaching
To generate personalized coaching feedback, relevant parts of your profile and training data are sent to Anthropic (the company behind Claude, the AI model we use) solely to generate a response to you. This happens for every "Ask Coach" message and every movement analysis. Anthropic processes this data under its own privacy and data-use commitments to us as a service provider — it is not used to build public AI models, and it is not sold.
Who We Share Information With
- Service providers who help us run the platform: Supabase (database and account hosting), Netlify (website hosting), and Anthropic (AI processing, as described above).
- Recruiters — only if you explicitly turn on "Make my profile visible to recruiters" in your profile settings. This is off by default. If you never enable it, recruiters cannot see your profile through the platform, period.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason.
Children's Privacy
If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must create and manage your account on your behalf, and must provide consent before any profile information is collected. If you are between 13 and 17, we encourage (and in some cases require) parental awareness of your account, particularly the recruiter-visibility setting, which we recommend parents and athletes decide on together.
Parents and guardians can review, correct, or request deletion of a minor's information at any time by contacting us at support@ai.athleteintelligence.com. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information without the consent required above, we will delete it promptly.
Your Choices
- You can update or correct any information in your profile at any time from the Profile page.
- You can turn recruiter visibility on or off at any time — changes take effect immediately.
- You can request a copy of your data, or request that we delete your account and associated data, by emailing support@ai.athleteintelligence.com.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, so your training history and coaching stay personalized and continuous. If you delete your account, we will delete your associated profile and training data, except where we're required to retain limited records for legal or security purposes.
Security
We use industry-standard practices (including encrypted connections and access controls) to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — but we take reasonable, active steps to protect your data and limit who can access it internally.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
